HTotal Review

Hedge Total (HTotal) offers its clients several account types. All accounts are offer floating spreads, leverage up to 1:500 and the opportunity to trade micro lots on the MetaTrader 5 platform with no minimum initial deposit requirement. Two of them are commission-free and the NDD one involves a commission, but spreads start at zero. PAMM services are also available with this broker.

The offerings of HTotal seem really attractive: you can start trading with a couple of bucks, use high leverage and the spreads fall within the average range of 1.0 – 1.5 pips for EUR/USD. However, we do not recommend doing business with this broker, as it is not regulated and could be engaged in fraudulent practices.

The Company. Security of Funds

Established in 2009, HTotal is a Russian broker headquartered in London and registered offshore. It offers a wide range of instruments for trade on MT5: more than 50 Forex pairs, a number of CFDs on stocks, commodities, precious metals, as well as various Futures.

The company behind the brand is HTotal Company International Corporation, an International Business Company (IBC) registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. SVG is a popular offshore forex destination due to the fast and inexpensive registration procedure and the liberal control over brokerage firms.

Trading with an offshore broker is a risky business and we generally advise traders to invest their money elsewhere. What is more, while user reviews of HTotal are a mixed bag, which is usually the case with almost any forex broker, we found that that there is a FPA Traders Court guilty vote against this company. The Forex Peace Army (FPA) recommends caution dealing with this broker and we would advise you to select among brokerages licensed in UK, Cyprus, or Australia for instance, where traders have certain level of.

Trading Platform

HTotal offers its clients the MetaTrader 5 (MT5), desktop, and mobile versions available.

MT5 is a multi-asset platform suitable for trading in the forex, stocks, futures and CFD markets. As most MT4’s indicators and Expert Advisors (EA) are not supported on the MT5 platform, the latter is still in the shadow of its predecessor. Recently, however, a number of enhancements were made to the MetaTrader 5, including the adding of hedging feature. As a result, MT5 gained popularity both among brokers and traders. Besides, its developer MetaQuotes announced it will no longer issue updates to the MT4 and will instead concentrate on the MT5.

More brokers using the MT5 can be viewed at Topforexbrokers.com.

Promotion

HTotal runs 100% on-deposit welcome bonus and 50% bonus on each subsequent deposit.

Methods of Payment

Payment methods with HTotal are the following: credit/debit cards, bank wire transfer, and e-wallets Yandex, MonetaRu, WebMoney, and RBKMoney.

HTotal is a Russian broker registered offshore that provides online trading in forex, CFDs and futures on the MT5 platform. Although its offerings seem attractive, we would not recommend doing business with HTotal, because it is not regulated and could be a scam.

The Broker is not a safe forex broker, Instead you can use Plus500, XM, eToro, Fxpro or AvaTrade forex brokers.
