TradeV Review

The TradeV forex broker offers five types of live trading accounts” Classic, Premium, VIP, ECN Classic and ECN VIP. There is also a free demo account and the Islamic account option (swap-free) for the Classic, Premium and VIP accounts.

TradeV’s instrument list includes the major and some minor forex pairs, CFDs on precious metals, energies, a few indices and company stocks.

The Company. Security of Funds
TradeV is an offshore unregulated broker registered on the Marshall Islands. It claims to have a representative office in Edinburgh, but is not regulated by UK’s Financial Conduct Authority. This means the broker is not authorized to provide financial services in the UK.

We could not find information about security of funds or membership in a compensation scheme, which suggests the risk for clients’ funds is rather high. This adds up to the fact that TradeV is not regulated and is registered in an offshore zone and they generally are known for their lax rules and secrecy.

A significant portion of the unregulated offshore forex brokers exist with the sole purpose of scamming people out of their money and then disappearing, so beware.

Trading platforms
TradeV offers two trading platforms: MetaQuotes’ MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and the Sirix Webtrader. Both MT4 and Sirix have web versions and mobile applications for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.

One of the main reasons for the popularity of MT4 is that it is stable and reliable, has many functions, offers API connectivity, supports PAMM and MAMM functionality and has a wide selection of technical analysis and charting tools. It is also user-friendly and supports Expert Advisors and automated trading. On the other hand, Sirix Webtrader does not require installation and offers roughly the same funciotnalities as the MetaTraders.

Methods of payment
TradeV accepts payments through bank wire, credit and debit cards and the online payment systems Skrill, Neteller and FasaPay. This is more or less the standard fare for most brokers, although some also accept payments through PayPal, for example.

TradeV is yet another offshore-registered and unregulated forex broker that offers average trading conditions and has ridiculously high minimum deposit requirement. In comparison, some regulated forex brokers require a minimum deposit as low as $1.

The Broker is not a safe forex broker, Instead you can use Plus500, XM, eToro, Fxpro or AvaTrade forex brokers.
